In Fedora 8: I faced a strange error!!! while trying to install a printer.
Error connecting to CUPS Server

When I open System>Administration>Printers then first of all ’system-config-printer’ window hangs for a long time and then suddenly comes up with the said error message. In fedora forum it they say that its a bug: and the solution is only 127.0.0.1:631 .

and yes I also did that : installed my LPD/LPR Printer (or Host).
